I’ve recently had the urge to be creative and learn to draw. I loved to draw as a kid. I don’t remember if I was ever any good at it. In my early teens computers and video games took over most of my free time so I didn’t do much drawing after that and haven’t really done anything artistist since.
I won an older Wacom graphics tablet at a conference a couple years ago so I’ve been playing with it in Photoshop. It isn’t a great tablet and the active area is small, only 4 by 3, but it works. If I keep up with this hobby I’ll get something better.
I’m particularly interested in cartoony/comic book type art since it fits more with my skill level. Since I’m into World of Warcraft and other video games my drawing may tend toward a video gamey aspect. I’d love to eventually be able to do some kind of comic strip.
I’ve changed the wordpress theme of this web site to one geared toward displaying comic strip type art so it is easier to post what I draw.
