Wow, that’s a little distrubing. I guess they like to eat liquified human.
I did this one entirely in Photoshop including the sketching. I used a textured background and a watercolor like brush to give it a watercolory look. I used this tutorial over on http://danidraws.com to do the watercolor stuff. It’s a great site. You should check it out.
Looks like he’s got an alien invasion on his hands. Wonder what they are doing with all the bodies…
I drew this one in Adobe Illustrator just to try it out. Sorry I didn’t have time to color this one or put much detail into it. I like the nice smooth lines it produces but it seems to have a mind of its own. I’m not sure I like not having full control of what I’m doing.
My drawing challenge for this one was to draw a rear view of a person running. I’m still sketching and inking these on paper and coloring them in photoshop. Tomorrow I think I’ll try to do the inking in either Illustrator or Photoshop.

I decided to try out color this time. I have a lot to learn!
Now its starting to get interesting! What the hell is that thing? What’s it doing to the guy? Sucking he brains out? Laying eggs in his head? Is the dude still alive? Doesn’t look good whatever it is. I’m having a lot of fun drawing these. Come back next week to see what happens.

This is the beginning a new project. My plan is to tell a story with daily drawings and hopefully learn a lot and improve a lot. I’m going to try to sketch a drawing a day during my lunch hour at work. In the evenings I’ll ink and hopefully color the drawing. I may end up having to forego the coloring at first if I don’t have enough time. I won’t be doing dialog. I want the drawings to tell the tale. I’m also not scripting it out ahead of time. The story will evolve and unfold as I go.
